Sales professionals are among the hardest working people on the planet and for good reasons. These are the people that live on the edge – you either close the sale and get your straight cut from the deal; or lose the sale and lose your commission. Sales is a very lucrative industry. There are times when commission comes in the form of a bonus system so salespeople are rewarded for being productive for a certain period of time because of their overall sales performance and not just because of any one specific sale. This encourages peak performance in the workplace.
