Lawless Believers These lawless believers must be willing to relinquish doctrinal control to the stewardship not claiming autonomy which hurts their pride as we see the apostle John faced in the first century church and wrote this occurrence for our warning and benefit today. 3John 1:10 “Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.” John saw Satan’s charity was saltless truth to excuse themselves to be responsible to the stewardship of the called fishermen of our Lord Jesus Christ. They claim of themselves “We are not John’s robots” to pursue their own brand of truth and call that the gospel. John said this that “those that leave the assembly will murder those they claim to love.” 1 John 2:19 “They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” Autonomy: choosing independence and self-government to make their own moral decisions and act on them which creates an aesthetic (false piety) religion about Jesus Christ. Common Separation in the Early Church 1 Timothy 1:20 “Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.” The God-code has that drive to dominate, control or destroy and Satan takes advantage of this power in the soul to persecute the cross which demands the Throne dominates (Jesus is Lord) to control (set policy for faith) or destroy (bring to ruin). Philippians 3:19 “Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) Their convictions lay in the moral-code and not in covenant faith. Religious sinners, called the ungodly in Psalms 1:2 and unconverted believers (as those outside of His covenant) use the text as their authority to remove the Throne. When they feel their position is challenged they first want to dominate (ego stroking the Bible) this knowledge field through challenges of authority (Called apostles). John 7:48 “Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed on him?” Then they what to control by setting down the challenges of their principle using the text to shield their doubt and anger. Through envy many righteous men were betrayed by those that claim they “love Jesus.” 2 Corinthians 3:1 “Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? Then finally frustrated they will throw ‘text’ stones to dominate by force of will using Jesus’ whip example of the letter to justify themselves. These are lost to virtue and resist grace abominating faith. There is no fellowship with the works of darkness (false knowledge). For faith only labours with the Spirit of truth. By these things of grace and truth we love one another according to Christ Jesus. But those without have to maintain their false Jesus with fantasy and flattery to confirm each other to keep the bond of friendship.
