Some vehicle symptoms of repair and replacement are really hard to understand and misleading. For example, you may determine that spark plugs are needed to be replaced, whereas MAF sensors are needed to be cleaned. If you tell your mechanic to change the spark plugs instead of diagnosing the problem, he will do it and charge from you, leaving the problem unresolved
- Be sure about the problem that you are facing with your car. If possible, note down the symptoms of the problems, before going to the car repair shop. This will help you explain the mechanic about the problem you are facing. Remember that failing to proper communication with the auto mechanic can lead to wrong diagnosis, which in turn can even lead to spending more money.
