Dressing your kid used to be easy when she was younger. You just choose the cutest thing you can find and make her wear it. Now that she is approaching grade school or middle school, the chore of finding the right school clothes for her has become more challenging. Until your kid is old enough to know what’s appropriate or not, it is your job to find the right clothes that will keep her safe and covered. Get the Right Size Girls should not be wearing tops and dresses that are two sizes too small, especially if their budding breasts are on the bigger side. Guys should wear pants that actually hug the hips, and not something that is cinched below the butt by a belt. Both sexes should not wear clothing that exposes their underwear, please. Keep Their Accessories to a Minimum Not all kids are responsible enough to take care of jewelry and other pricey accessories; therefore, it is best to keep them to a minimum. Resist the urge to deck your little girl in diamonds; a pair of small diamond studs for her ears is enough. It is not practical to let kids wear expensive timepieces either. There are childrens watches that are durable without the hefty price tag. Better get inexpensive boys watches and girls watches that kids will have no trouble keeping or maintaining. Remember that your kid is going to school, not to a fashion show. If your child is in the 7-12 year old range, you will need clothing that can cater to active lifestyles. It is not wise to buy miniskirts for a little girl who runs and sits anytime she wants, however she wants. Jeans are a safe staple; you can stock up on durable denim and know you will get your money’s worth. Same rule applies to bags and other accessories. Instead of giving a small handbag to your little girl, why not opt for a roomy backpack that can carry all her belongings? This lessens the risk of getting her valuables lost.
