Situated in the Stables Market Chalk Farm road in Camden, this club is actually a 19th century horse hospital that was later turned into a nightclub live performances, cabarets, and swinging music nights. It combines the grime and glamour of North England and doubles as a legendary rock photography gallery during the day time complete with the availability of hot food and beverages. The music is mostly live or electronic and ranges from rock, indie, folk, hip hop, house, and beyond and boasts of Artists like Jessie J, Peter Doherty, The Kooks, Stereophonics, and Johnny Borrell having played for this night club. The nightclub is open every day from 11am till the wee hours of 1:30 am in the morning till Wednesday; and from Thursday through Sundays, the closing time is 2:30 am. Entry charges usually vary but can be approximated to be between £5 and £11.

However, it is the interiors that make this place interesting. The original horse hospital had seven stables which have still been kept in structure. It is just the hay that has been replaced with luxurious sofas and flat screen televisions. The stripper poles are interesting as anyone can have a go at them. There is a different décor for each stable and one among them is a karaoke room that is fully equipped and also has a small stage for performance. This is a reason why it is the perfect place to hire for a private party. Also having Sky Sports, movie channels, DVDs and PS3 video games including Xbox Rock Band makes it an ideal choice when hosting birthday parties or get together for groups.

The nightclub is also home to burlesque show and combines it with modern day British cuisine. One can catch the cabaret shows from Wednesday through Saturday nights. Weekend afternoons however, are reserved for the Kids Club where you can take pleasure in a delicious meal while the kids get busy with their dose of entertainment. Drinking here is fun and some of the available drinks are real ale, lager, cider, cocktails, spirit and mixer, wine, champagne, and Jaeger Bomb –you can pick your poison from the lot.

It is quirky, unique and different from any other nightclub. And that is what makes this place so special. With an average rating of 4/5 by most users, this place deserves to be on your list of must-visits.
