Instructions as follows: Firstly, turn off the hot and cold water supply to the sink by turning the two oval-shaped knobs underneath the sink at the wall in a clockwise direction. Secondly, place a bucket underneath the large bend beneath the drain trap. The drain trap is the section of piping underneath the sink that looks like a large horseshoe. One end of the trap leads to the bottom of the sink, and the other end leads to the wall. Stainless steal sinks generally have stainless steel pipes as opposed to plastic pipes. Thirdly, use a pipe wrench to loosen the two slip nuts which secure the drain trap. The slip nuts are about the size of a silver dollar and have notches around the circumference of the nuts. Fourthly, remove the trap once the slip nuts have been loosened by slowly pulling down on the trap. Fifthly, remove the bucket once the water stops dripping. Sixthly, unplug the garbage disposal from its electrical wall outlet. Seventhly, use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the rubber hoses which connect to the garbage disposal by turning the screws in a counter clockwise direction. Once the clamps are loose, disconnect the hoses from the garbage disposal by pulling the hoses away from the disposal. Eighthly, cut through the caulking that surrounds the top edges of the sink with a utility knife. Take care not to scratch the stainless steal. Ninthly, grab the sinks drain holes from the top of the sink and lift the sink out of the countertop. Finally, let me have a conclusion.
