An interior designer may work exclusively or in consultation with architects and builders. The project is defined by a time deadline and a working schedule set into place by the designer. It is the responsibility of the interior designer to proactively participate and oversee the project work, ensuring its timely completion. After finishing the project, it is shown to the client and some changes are made as and if required by the client. Courses and Eligibility for Interior Designing Interior designing is one of the specialisation that one can opt for while pursuing a course in Design. There is a 4 year Bachelor of Fine Arts course that comes with a specialisation in Interior Designing. Furthermore there are many private training institutes and good interior designing in Delhi that provide certificate programmes and diplomas in interior designing. The eligibility for each of these courses is at least 10+2. A beginner level ID earns between Rs10,000 to Rs, 20, 000, while established designers get a premium paycheque of Rs 50,000 and above for each project. There are a number of options that an aspiring interior designer can choose from for pursuing his career. He/She can work for an architectural firms, hotels, public works department, theatres, and hospitals or start private consultancy.
