Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) June 07, 2012 Buchanan & Edwards (BE) is proud to announce its contributionto the Cynthia Earley Educational Foundation (CEEF), a nonprofitthat provides college scholarships for student athletes. CEEF haschosen Buchanan & Edwards as the presenting sponsor of theCynthia Earley Scholarship Award for the 21st annual GreatChesapeake Bay Swim (GCBS). The 2012 event is scheduled for Sunday, June 10th near Annapolis,MD. Over 80 eligible student athletes will be entered in either the1 or 4.4 mile swim events. The two winning students will berecognized and awarded scholarships after the 4.4 mile race at theBay Bridge Marina on the eastern shore of Maryland. Scholarshipsfor $1000 and $500 will be awarded to the student athletes who haveraised the most funds to benefit the charities of the GCBS. The Earley family founded CEEF, including BE employee DarrenEarley, to commemorate the life of their mother who was passionateabout youth, education and leadership. BE shares the same idealsthrough its career internship program. BE recruits students andgraduates with the goal of supporting their professional andeducational goals as well as teaming to support charitableorganizations and the community.
