The beaches that surround VALENCIA VILLAS are beautiful: the sand is clean and also the sea is clear. The city makes sure certain beaches are very well maintained for the benefit of the many visitors that frequent the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Restaurants, bars and shops are dotted around these beaches and you will find sun patio chairs and umbrella hire services. You will find ice cream stalls in addition to small children’s rides over the extended promenades. Beaches are safe for getting a tan and marine sports and are much loved by local residents and visitors alike. Consequently, a couple of the more central stretches of beach nearer the city frequently become crowded in the summer and at weekends residents visit to escape the heat of the day: therefore it may be easier to visit one of the more outlying beaches by car or train. The beach nearest for the city centre is known as Valencia beach but you will find other beaches in the area which are equally readily available including Playa del la Malvarossa, which is a 20 minute stroll from the city centre. This is often a very popular beach and does become quite crowded on weekends but trains enable you to get rapidly to Las Arenas. This location features many hotels like the classy Balneario del las Arenas, known as the home of famous novelist Blasco Ibanez. The Playa del Las Arenas is a well loved upmarket beach with a lot of bars and restaurants to choose from. It is popular for people thinking about an evening time stroll. The promenade close to the beach boasts a lot of fine eateries with excellent menus and atmospheric outdoor balconies: it is a perfect place for a glass or two at sunset overlooking the coast. If you are heading to the city from VALENCIA VILLAS, you may end up at Pinedo beach which is a well known nudist beach. If that is not your thing, a short while further on to El Saler which boasts sand so white it could blind you. The beach is remarkably clean and safe. To north of the city you will find Playa del Alboraya among others. The location from all over the city offers fabulous beaches, some less crowded than others but all offering sun, water sports and relaxation.
