To get invited :- • You need to submit an EOI and get sponsored • You must have an occupation that is on the apt skilled occupation list • You must have a appropriate skills assessment for that profession • You should be less than 50 years of age when the invitation • You must fulfil the English language proficiency requirements • You must be able to score minimum 60 on the points test. • You must meet character and health requirements. Expression of Interest can be submitted from outside Australia as well through SkillSelect. After being nominated by employer or state or territorial government to apply for this visa, applicant needs to lodge your online within 60 days. Invitation letter will describe the lodgement procedure which you will need to follow. Your presence in Australia is not mandatory while you lodge your application for Victorian Govt. State Sponsorship for SkillSelect program. If after being invited twice you do not respond to invitation and do not apply for visa then your EOI will be removed from SkillSelect. Initial application charges are needed to be paid by credit card. If you have a dependent included in your application whose age is above 18 years and whose English knowledge is below certain level then you will have to pay second charges otherwise not.
