Shoes that are too tight could cause injuries. As for socks, look for a pair made of lightweight and non-abrasive fabric to prevent blisters. When looking at workout clothes keep one word in mind: comfort. Keep frills at a minimum to avoid distractions. Being comfortable in what you wear boosts your confidence and increases your motivation to tackle a tough workout. That said, you don't need to forgo style completely in lieu of comfort.
