The old industrial port was made over spectacularly in ways you could not believe until you see it. The waterfront has already had an entire facelift. There is now a 64 acre park with a giant palm tree promenade. Then there is the City of Arts and Sciences which is an assortment of museums and cinemas. Even with the brand new construction, Valencia has truly been a location to attract knowledgeable people. It is a wonderful city. The city is best explored by getting lost while walking. Little cafes and medieval shopping streets will suddenly appear turning the back streets into a local paradise.
