After graduating from university, I worked in a small city and lived in my aunt’s home. Every weekend, I would help my aunt look after her small shop. At one dust, when I prepared to get off work, a five-year-old child ran to the shop suddenly, handed 5 dollars to me and said, “Dear big sister, please give me two pieces of bread.” Since I was anxious to have a date, I didn’t look the money carefully. In the evening, my aunt checked the accounts and said, “You have got a counterfeit note.” I took it over, touched it carefully and found it was truly a forged note. Then I thought of the little girl, got angry and sighed silently in my heart. In the next twilight, the little girl ran to me and said in a lovely voice, “Dear big sister, I want two pieces of bread today.” I bridled up, stared at her and said, “Who gave you the money that you gave me yesterday?” The little girl smiled joyfully and said, “I sold waste products for 4 dollars, but the uncle of the waste shop spoke highly of me and gave me 5 dollars. Dear big sister, what’s wrong? ” My heart sank and I said to her sympathetically, “No, you do nothing wrong.” Then I continued talking with her and knew that her grandma was seriously ill, so she had to sell newspaper and wastes so as to buy more nourishment for her grandma. So how could I blame such a good child for her ignorance? In the third day, the child came again, bought two pieces of bread and said, “Dear big sister, could you return the 5 dollars to me? The uncle of the waste ship said that the note had commemorative value and he wanted to collect it.” I smiled and knew that the man in the waste shop carelessly gave the forged money to the child, but he didn’t wish to leave a shadow in the child’s heart, so did I. Then I took a genuine note to the child and said, “Yes, I set it aside, for I am afraid you will in need of it in the future.” The child left happily with the note.
