Once an old man bought a deserted land at a low price. Every day, he started working at six O’clock in the morning. He weeded, loosened the soil, seeded, watered, fertilized and caught insects and he had to return home after sunsets. He was truly busy every day and had to get up at dawn and had a good rest at night. After half a year of his hard work, this deserted land was filled with attractive flowers, green trees and exquisite cobblestone. Gradually, this gorgeous garden attracted countless people and they spoke highly of them. One day a young man couldn’t help walking forward and said to the old man, “How beautiful your garden is and I am very jealous of it, and I guess God takes good care of you!” The old man smiled and answered, “Dear sir, maybe God truly takes good care of me, but do you know that everyday I start working hard at six O’clock in the morning but returned home in the evening?” Likewise, when we see others receiving awards on the stage and expressing their personal experiences to be successful, we shouldn’t only admire them, but we should try to feel their hardships behind success, which is full of bitterness and sweat. It is not easy to gain success; instead, the key of achieving success is too prepare well and reclaim land of success industriously in our daily life. Recently, the London Olympic Games is holding and competitive players from all over the world take active in it. We common people pay much attention to the race by watching TV, listening to radio, surfing the Internet and so on. When we see some people try their best to fight for their nations and themselves, we cheer on them and pray for them. Living up to our expectations, some players functioned well and got the gold medal. At the moment, almost all of them were so excited that they burst into tears. It is no deny that they have been practicing day after day, year after year so as to take part in this game. Before succeeding, they had to bear loneliness, poverty and boring and repetitive exercise. Hence, we should understand that success isn’t accomplished in an action; instead, it is the result of accumulation. Finally, are you interested in London Olympic Games like me?
