The so-called happiness is that a man carries a washing machine back to you by climbing over the Himalayas. As a versatile host, actor and writer, Kevin Tsai once said, “In ancient times, we didn’t send messages, or chat on the internet, or go abroad, or get stuck on the road. But if I missed you, I would climb over two mountains, walk for 5 kilometers to hold your hands.” If that beauty he described is a kind of luxury, then the washing machine carried by this man named “jig” was the most luxurious present in the world. Hence, this story concerning about an Ihoba’s man made a great many people moved. The village of Ihoba was located in the border of China and India, which was very natural, quiet and leisurely. Hence villagers here led a happy life. Among one year, only in midsummer the mountainside’s snows would melt and there would reveal a narrow mountain path full of granites, through which the villagers could buy things from the distant towns. As usual, jig set off to buy a washing machine for his wife. Every time before Jig’s departure, his wife would pray to God sincerely and wished his husband would return home safely. Jig arrived at an electrical shop early that day, in which the washing machines are featured with good quality, new style and low price. After comparing each other carefully, he chose the lightest washing machine. When the boss was to sign warranty for him, he said that it was unnecessary to do that for he couldn’t carry it back though it was broken. Instead, he asked him to cut down the price. At 9 o’clock in the morning, Jig went back to his home happily. This is a long journey, for he had to climb over a high mountain of 4650 meters to reach his hometown. Because it rained heavily last night, so the road became very muddy and the stones were here and there. Nevertheless, there are no shortcuts to climb the Himalayas easily. Many people said that it was destined to die when climbing this mountain, but Jig took his life at stake and carried this washing machine back home. When he arrived at home, he took this heavy washing machine off his shoulder eventually. At the moment, his son ran to him and asked naively, “Is this washing machine bought for me?” Jig wiped the sweat on his forehead and said kindly, “Yes, it is.” After reading this story, I have got the essence of happiness and true love.
