Do you need to sell your home? When the Utah Real Estate market is full of offerings, what can you do to get your house noticed? You don’t want to price it so low that you end up in a hole and unable to purchase anything else. First you need to stage your home effectively and give it curb appeal. Second, you need to find a motivated realtor, and third you need to price it right. Too high and you’ll scare people away, and too low, you won’t have any room for negotiation. What does it mean to give your home curb appeal? Simply put, it is making your Utah Real Estate look it’s very best from the street view. Go outside and look at your yard and exterior of your home. What would make it more appealing? Do you have dead plants or overgrown shrubs? Weed all your flowerbeds, remove any dead plants and replace with new ones, and mow and edge your grass. Keep it green and watered. Trim any overgrown shrubbery and tree branches. If your garbage cans are visible from the street, find a place for them out of sight. Next, look at your house paint. Is there any that is peeling? Scrape off any loose paint from the body and trim of the house and either touch it up or repaint the entire home. If you do it yourself, it is not very expensive. Choose a color that is attractive and fits nicely into the surroundings. Paint your doors and trim in coordinating colors.
