This interesting piece of food is based on one of the most valuable crops in history. Corn based diets are what are feed to cattle and chickens. It is one of the most commonly used food stocks for the beginning of our meat based food chain and it will continue to be a staple of life for quite some time. The very prospect that popcorn will be replaced by something else that is not going to be as flexible is not good. This treat, having a long history in survival, social occasions and tribal customs will not allow it.
