Expect to pay a respectable amount ($500-2000) and don't try to go cheap on that purchase, unless you find a trusted source. With purebred animals of all kinds: You get that which you pay for and breeders selling quality know what the going rate is usually.

Any cat breeding practices that places pedigree cats into cages 24-7 dramatically interferes with the fitness of that kitty. It is not natural nor normal to get a cat to be placed into a cage all day long. A cat needs to exercise & become a cat.
Imagine spending the whole life caged in a space so small you couldn't proceed your arms or change. That's the sad life of all of our pedigreed cats that are utilized for breeding world large. Pedigreed felines are on a regular basis confined in spaces which means that small they can't live their natural lifestyle walking on all several paws. These unnatural practices compromise their immune systems, so to keep that cat appearing healthy they can be pumped full of antibiotics, damaging the integrity of the felines entire health.
These unnatural practices of caging pedigree felines are promoted with the cat fancy community that will be involved with breeding involving pedigreed cats. Cat breeding practices promotes illness in felines that otherwise may not occur if feline was to be free all day long to roam in managers home.
To prove what I am saying is, lets place a cat breeder within a cage with just adequate room to sit, walk a few steps and do some sort of bowel movement & take. If it is unhealthy to get a human cat breeder it is certainly unhealthy for a cat cat.
Do you wonder why you read so many complaints from buyers involving pedigree cats always moaning they "bought a sick cat"? When the consumer goes toward the cat breeders home to buy the cat or cat the cat looks fine. The reason is the cat breeder maintain a pool of feline on high levels of antibiotics. The problems come after the kitten gets to it's new home. Within day or less the cat is going to be showing its illness signs which were suppressed by those big dosages of antibiotics due to the cat breeder. The kitten was sick prior to the consumer purchased this kitten. The antibiotics just doctored it around fool the buyer and so the sale can be made.
Very well-known breeders keep their a queen on antibiotics all coupled their entire pregnancy. Then you wonder why the cats are so sickly. If a women had any form of medication during her pregnancy its is very dangerous. Not so with the cat breeders. They have totally destroyed the integrity with the pedigreed cats immune system by all the medicating they do, because they don't figure out what natural foods to feed and don't know how to care for cats usually. Cat breeders have defeated our pedigree cats altogether. How sad is that will? Its very sad really.
