The Detergent Regulations as defined in 648/2004/EC apply to chemical preparations which includes conventional methods used in professional and consumer washing and cleaning processes that create "waste-washing's", which are then passed into the waste water and foul drainage systems, ending up in water treatment and sewerage plants.
