All throughout the Vanessa Hudgens naked picture scandal, everyone seemed to be pointing a finger at the 18-year-old actress' boyfriend and co-star, Zac Efron. However, Efron isn't the only one being blamed by the public, as recent reports emerged, saying that Drake Bell was also involved in it. Bell, who appears on Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh, has recently been accused of being the prime suspect for Hudgen's provocative poses. An anonymous source from People magazine reported that the High School Musical actress e-mailed her nude pictured to Drake Bell two years ago. The report further said that Hudgens sent the pornographic images of herself as a fan wanting to get attention, before she even became the teen idol she is today. Bell's representative Jill Fritzo countered these reports, saying that the Drake & Josh star had no prior knowledge of the nude pictures. 'Drake says he never received those photos,' Fritzo told People. Prior to Hudgens' launch as a Disney actress, she and Bell had worked together for a 2006 episode of Drake & Josh, where she played Drake's girlfriend. A couple of days after Hudgen's public apology for her misled actions, reports about Bell's involvement in the scandal followed. 'I want to apologize to my fans, whose support and trust means the world to me,' said a very embattled Vanessa Hudgens. 'I am embarrassed over this situation and regret having ever taken these photos. I am thankful for the support of my family and friends.' In another statement, her publicist expressed her disappointment that such a private matter has become an object of public interest. 'This was a photo which was taken privately,' Hudgens' publicist said, in talking about the naked picture that was strewn all over the Internet. 'It is a personal matter and it is unfortunate that this has become public.' As for Drake Bell, he hasn't run out of good publicity as the film Drake & Josh: Really Big Shrimp will be aired on Nick India on September 23 at 11am, with an encore telecast at 7pm.
