REQUIEM TO A BRAVE AND LONELY BULL Primitive humans or sick remnants of an ancient civilisation ? Not very many people would call an obscenity that tries to pass itself off as culture, as psychotic evil, especially when the victim happens to be an ordinary, run of the mill, bull bred to be ritually slaughtered. Yet the torture to which our fellow creature harbouring genetic links closer to us than we care to admit, knows no bounds in - you have guessed it – Spain ! The locals (including the proud Mayor and his staff) of the small town of Tordesillas, thinks it is all a great deal of religious fun which should fill the world with awe and wonder in the name of Mary mother of Jesus, the founder of Christianity. This in itself is the first indication that something is very wrong somewhere, since Christianity is supposed to be one of the religions of Love and Compassion. But then, Tordecillas and its people goes one better and invites all and sundry to bring their heavy iron spears to gore the vastly outnumbered bull to death. After that, when the terrified grief stricken bull falls in agony to the ground, spurting blood from its very nostrils, people (reminiscent of the cave dwellers of the paleolithic period) scramble on its back to thrust into its exposed spine what seem like blunt double sided blades in an attempt to severe the spinal cord. The bull reared its head last time, unable to protect its life, roaring with searing pain. The whites of its eyes rolled about with a bathos that challenged every decent human that still lives on this incredibly ignorant planet full of abysmal morons The molten filth of hell cannot equal those last ugly moments of the helpless banishment of our brave and beautiful bull to what must, as a last resort, have been welcome oblivion. Again and again the clumsy knife held by salivating and shrieking cowards, stabbed brutally into the cervical nerves to the horrifying cries of the macerated creature. Finally, the pitiful existence of this innocent, confused creature came to what was hopefully a sudden end as his head fell violently to the ground. He had sensed, from the very start as the video shows, that he was outnumbered and unable to defend himself, but stood silently and proudly away from the mob, seeking solace against the railings which blocked his escape. The prize, apart from his life, were the testicles which had to be wrenched off by demonic hands whilst fighting against scores of ten inch iron spearheads penetrating muscle and vital organs. The tail severed before his last breath was brandished like the trophy even before his eyes had finally closed as if to allow him to watch his own demise. All this happened only a few days ago despite the promise by this evil municipality that it would attempt to replace the profanity by something more acceptable. The problem, it seems, lies in the very depths of the psyche of a large number of the people whose very behaviour and appearance betrays genetic abnormality. It is a well known fact that the secluded villages protecting its heritage through family marriages and incest, produced a very high level of cretinism which many foreign residents who have tried to live in them have found out to their disquiet and rapid departure. Watching and listening to these fiendish creatures wielding their spears and knives to cries of appreciation requires little understanding to realize that in their world such barbarity is essential to assuage primitive appetites. Paleolithic man is alive and ever present at these incredibly primitive blood feasts which tragicomically now demand UNESCO to enshrine in cultural value for world applause. In this very town, as in some other places, an equally sordid spectacle based on setting the horns on fire astonished the world last year. A youtube video exposed attempts by a bull struggling to break its head against a wall to escape from the pain caused by the flame that was visibly consuming his eye. The bull, even in the religious celebration of the bullfighting ceremonial is well aware of his fate and for those in the front rows, the rasping sounds of despair and muted cries are all too audible. It is however important to understand that thankfully, ever increasing numbers of better educated Spaniards are now against it and only politicians, wary of lost votes, fear the blame in its abolition. The graphic vision of the last moments of our Tordecilla Bull caught and frozen for posterity in Youtube, will, without doubt, greatly affect the vision of a country which still defies the sensitivity of most humans of the evolved world. It might even perhaps temper the diplomatic will of those in corridors of power and influence. Perhaps UNESCO might be able to illustrate to these “cultural claimants” that their pleas are based on morbid addiction rather than the intellectual appraisal its misguided supporters appear to be trying to convey to a horrified world. Words cannot describe the scenes that the people who confuse brutality and personal lust with culture have been hiding from the international cultural institutions. Mercifully, most races now raise cries of horror and disgust, to the point of hatred, in the direction of Spain, the Pharoes, Canada and Japan. Many now deprive themselves of a visit to these country for fear of being party to their insensitivity to the regular torture of animals like the bull, seal and whale. The culprits are a mere few of the whole and it is about time that the collective consciousness swept them out with the clear cut dismissal they deny their victims. Modern studies show that the animal world shares our genes to the point of total identity and short of being unable to talk, close contact reveal that they convey by body language enough to ensure that it is our duty to respect their right to life. All torture (especially for entertainment) is psychopathic and its protagonists should be deprived of the freedom to express the obscenities that without doubt, given the circumstances, they would inflict on family and friends. Gandhi and dozens of their calibre - including Jesus, Mohammed and Krishna associated love and protection of animals with a key indicator to the quality of the moral standards of the people and their culture.
