It will draw more curiosity on Friday's game between the Carolina Panthers and the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium than any other games during the Week 2 of the 2011 NFL Preseason. The reason of this is that Carolina quarterback Cam Newton is slated to make his first career NFL starting. Newton who wears Carolina Panthers jerseys, is the 2010 Heisman Trophy winner and the No. 1 pick of the Panthers in the 2011 NFL Draft, he didn't exactly defeat anyone in his NFL debut, completing eight of 19 passes for 134 yards against the second- and third-string of the New York Giants last Saturday. Many people must focus on Newton's performance on Friday night and it’s a significant turning point for him. If he handles himself well as a starter against the Dolphins' starting defense and significantly outplays Clausen in the process, Newton will be top one in the Panthers' quarterback battle. So he must have undertake much pressure, when he came into the NFL with a reputation for stepping up in the clutch time and again while leading Auburn to the 2011 BCS National Championship, pressure is always along with him. So we will expect how Newton to handle the pressure, and to enjoy an exciting performance by Newton wearing his Cam Newton Panthers jersey on Friday.
