The climate in this location is fairly tropical with the wet season taking place from June until November, while the dry season is from December until May. Normally the precipitation can range anywhere from 40 inches up to 90 inches each year. Situated outside of the normal hurricane zone, they rarely feel the effects of hurricanes or tropical storms. The average length between hurricane strikes is about every 26 years. The last time they saw a hurricane was back in 1955 when severe damage was caused due to Hurricane Janet. Government is set up as a parliamentary democracy, modeled much like the British system. Back in November of 1966 Barbados became a country independent of others. Camouflage clothing is something that only military personnel are able to wear, and smoking is something that has been outlawed in public areas. The country is not lacking in technology and an economy that offers the residents a higher standard of living. Not only is it the 51st richest country located in the world, but it is the 66th when it comes to high income jobs as well. A lot of the money comes from cultivation of sugarcane, but there are many tourist and other things that can bring in money to the country. Though they still have a quite high unemployment rate they have dropped it from 14 to 10 percent in just a few years. Most of the jobs that were lost came about due to the attacks and less people travelling to any country after the September 11th, 2002 attacks. Though they did get a nice jump in building and 2006 was possibly one of the busiest ever in Barbados with construction taking place. Overall considering this location to purchase BARBADOS VILLAS does makes complete sense. Or even considering getting a time share to get away each year to a nice tropical location for vacation.
