My spouse and I love to explore the great outdoors together, and that occasionally includes camping trips, but I know many couples can't agree on whether or not to spend their getaway in a tent or a hotel. Compromise is possible, however. These tips may help. My spouse and I are what many people like to call the "outdoors-y types." While most of our outings consist mostly of afternoon drives and evening fires in the local canyon, we do enjoy weekend camping excursions from time to time. But I know not every couple is prone to agree on weekend wilderness getaways. So is there a compromise available? Of course! First off, you need to find out what factors drive your partner to be anti-camping and try to find remedies for them. For example, many females just don't like being away from restroom facilities, so you might agree to only select campgrounds that have those readily available, which shouldn't be too difficult. Go to your local camping supply shop and browse through the variety of products you will find there and pinpoint a few that might make nights in the woods or desert more enjoyable for everyone involved. Build up your supplies gradually so that when camping season arrives, you'll be ready to go. Does your significant other insist they must stay in a more comfortable arrangement? Find a lodge that is in an environment offering all your favorite outdoors activities. Hotels in Jackson, WY, are favorite destinations for my spouse and me when we want to go kayaking, hiking, and fishing but would prefer not to hassle with camping. This compromise is especially ideal for extended trips, which I define as exceeding three nights. When it's a romantic trip for the two of you, you both need to take a shower at some point, right?
