With Hugh Hefner and Kevin Burns’ The Girls Next Door, also known as The Girls of the Playboy Mansion, currently on its third season, recent news has focused the spotlight on one of the show’s regular stars. Holly Madison, one of Playboy magnate, Hugh Hefner’s companions on the show, has been hounded by rumors that she is pregnant, despite statements to the contrary. The pregnancy speculations began during a recent trip to Monaco, when Madison reportedly wore bulky, baggy and figure-hiding clothes, stayed away from parties and refused to drink alcohol. She was even said to have skipped a birthday party for Girls Next Door co-star, Kendra Wilkinson. A Monte Carlo insider even observed that, "While the other girls hit parties wearing next to nothing and looking all glamorous, Holly stayed covered up and in the background. She even wore a jacket for many of her interviews. No one said anything, but her condition was on everyone's mind - she was absent from the first two days of the festival because we were told she was sick." To further fuel the rumors, Madison seemed to have the topic of babies on her mind during a series of interviews she did at the Hotel du Paris. “I want to have kids with Hef in the next year or so and when that happens I just want it to be me and him…He's the best lover I've ever had," said the 27-year old from Astoria, Oregon. Madison stressed that Hefner’s age of 81 is irrelevant to her. Meanwhile, a Playboy representative has already issued this statement: “Holly is not pregnant, although she would like to be in the near future.” Aside from Madison and Wilkinson, The Girls Next Door, which has consistently premiered to impressive ratings on E!, also stars Bridget Marquardt as Hefner’s third girlfriend.
