Travelers have a lot of options when it comes to lodging these days. Every city in the world offers hotels for every type of price range, style, and interest. When it comes to hotels, there are two main types that differ greatly from one another. Boutique hotels and chain hotels offer very different experiences for their visitors and have many different pros and cons. Chain hotels are the most common types of hotels around the country. Chain hotels are owned by large corporations and are located all over the country. The point of a chain hotel is that a guest can assume that each hotel in each city will be similar to each other. For example, a Best Western in Las Vegas will be very similar to a Best Western in New York City. The goal of chain hotels is to be consistent so that guests always feel comfortable. They typically focus more on comfort and convenience, and are typically less expensive than boutique hotels. Boutique hotels are independently owned hotels that vary substantially. The point of a boutique hotel is to provide guests with a unique and exciting hotel experience. For example, a boutique hotel in Seattle may focus on extravagant decor and excellent customer service. Many boutique hotels also allow pets, making them great choices for animal lovers. Boutique hotels offer guests an excellent alternative lodging experience compared to average chain hotels. Additionally, staying at local boutique hotels is a great way to support local businesses in the community. Hotel Andra is a hotel in Seattle.
