Between the Pyrenees Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea you will find tranquil small Spanish villages often surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, hazelnut trees and almond trees. When visiting the area you will notice that most of the villages are built on top of a hill. This gave the villagers a better defensive position to shoot down on the intruders or pour hot oil on them. The seaside tourist resorts have developed over time with the family in mind, more so than any other place in Spain. These cities include Sitges, Tarragona and Delta del Ebro that have the children's activities on offer.
