Grosvenor’s Café has launched a limited edition Royal Wedding cupcake to add to its range of freshly baked cakes and to raise funds for ‘Clatterbridge your cancer centre’. With 50p from the sale of every cupcake to be donated to Clatterbridge, Grosvenor’s bakers are hoping to have a Royal Wedding day to remember as the Café offers free tea or coffee to every visitor between 8.30am and 9.30am on Friday 29th April. "We are hoping that visitors join us early on the Royal Wedding Day and support our aim to raise as many funds as possible for Clatterbridge. The celebratory cupcakes are now available all day, every day and will be available throughout the Royal Wedding weekend too so I would urge visitors to treat themselves to a delicious cupcake and help us raise a valuable amount of money for this important cause," said Iain Wylie, managing director. 'Clatterbridge your cancer centre' raises money to help improve the care, treatment and support that is given to the patients of Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, as well as fund vital research. "We are extremely grateful to Grosvenor for lending their support to Clatterbridge by introducing the limited edition Royal Wedding cupcakes. We are sure they will be a great success and would like to thank Grosvenor and their visitors for their ongoing encouragement of our work here at Clatterbridge," commented Kim Smith, Corporate Fundraising Manager.
