We often get confused about the similarity of classic cars and antique cars, where in reality both these variants are entirely different and does not intercept with each other by own virtue. However, the basic problem with these two parallel terms is that some old cars can be called antique as well as classic cars and but it is also a matter of fact that all antique vehicles are primarily not classic type. A car, which is at least 25 years old, can be called an antique car although depending on the model, age, purpose, and origin the tag of antique is placed on these old cars. One of the major criteria of antiques cars are regardless of its age, the car should be in running condition; otherwise these are not considered as antique car by the antique car communities. On contrary about classic used cars there is some stringent parameters as imposed and decided by authority [CCCA] and of them is only American cars are tagged as Classic car and to be a classic car, the vehicle needs to be produced and active in between 1925 and 1948-49. Apart from its age, design, pattern, engineering, and quality of workmanship involved in making of the car are considered as major deciding factors for the tagging of a car in classic car category. However antique or classic cars have nothing to do with project cars. Projects cars are car models which is available in mainly junk condition and on which the car enthusiasts impose exclusive make-over to give a complete face-lift to this car. Like antique or classic cars, projects car not rarely available rather often available in different used car dealer premises or in junk yard. Internet search is also a great resource for finding the list for project cars for sale. Additionally it is always wise to examine a project car before it is decided to work on it.
