Something else to consider for keeping softer, smoother and shinier hair is to purchase some coconut oil to use as a conditioning mask. This is the same type of oil that is used for cooking. Simply blend it in with dry hair and leave it for at least three hours. Wash out with shampoo and it will leave the hair noticeably softer and shinier than before.
