SAP fiori runs on three basics apps and there are certain requirements for these apps. The names of these apps are transnational apps, spread sheet apps and analytical apps. When we are installing these apps SAP recommends straighten the contents components with UI from the back end components that contain the business logic and back end data. All SAP Fiori apps are accessed through internet but the transactional apps can be accessed externally through internet. At back end there is SAP hana database, this can be ported to other databases. This data can be exposed to any type of consumer, it can be desktop, laptop , tablet or mobile phone. For the transactional app ABAP front end server contains the UI layer with the product specific UI components for the product. Over here we can see ABAP content server which have only UI components. If you have central hub installation where you have separate box that can act ABAP content server where all device components are installed. It could be ERP financial, customer relation management chain, supply chain management. The internal structure comprises the central UI component with SAPUI5 control menu and SAP fori launch back as well as the SAP gateway. The front end components have access trough trusted connection to ABAP back end server which has business logic here. You need to install trust relationship between your contents and back end server.
