As I sit alone in a state of emotional solitude, I reflect back on the sorrows and triumphs of my insignificant life. How can actions of the past be so fickle but have so much influence on your destination. One Choice… One Instance… And an Eternity of Consequence Where and how does one person attain and keep mental strength. What is so simple for one, is so difficult for another. Our inner child, not letting us move forward in a grown up life. Where does the balance come from? How much of this child must be lost to move forward successfully. Surely it is not how much, but what part of the child should be lost. Why is it so difficult to bypass those insecurities that somehow pushed their way to the front of your emotions, taking over your life like some sort of sick autopilot destined for hell. The only good that reflection on life has, is for preventing a repeat of stupidity in the future. The past is set in stone no matter what, or how you look at it. The future can be a scenic view of opportunity with a open mind. So I ask myself to help me create a great future and not let my destiny be set in eroding stone.
