Once you know what is needed, the next step is setting the spending limits so that you can properly manage your money. Even the sky has limits, so be sure to plan appropriately. How Many to Invite This is very important as you will want all of your friends and family to get invites. This will means writing everyone’s name down and then checking the list again to ensure that enough invitations are created. It is important to know how many people are invited because that will dictate the size of the venue. How Large is the Venue If you are talking about a handful of people, then your own home or residence should do nicely. However, if you are talking larger numbers then you will probably want to rent a venue. Many hotels cater to such events as they have plenty of ballroom space, however you might try some local non-profit organizations for their meeting rooms and halls if you want to save money. Decorations & Catering You can hire the best in town, do it all yourself or a little of both depending on your budget. You’ll want to choose an appropriate theme, one that reflects your own wedding if possible and look over the venue to get a good idea of the amount of decorations that are needed. As far as catering goes, for an event that lasts only a few hours you’ll only need appetizers and beverages. Here, you can go it alone or hire a company that will provide them as they often have packages for such events. Games & Events Finally, a bridal shower is going to be a fun time for everyone, so be sure to have a few games lined up so that everyone is entertained.
