Recently, in order to improve the quality of education in the state the Arunachal Pradesh government has planned to setup two model colleges at Tirap and Longding districts. The state government inaugurated the 18th college week of Rang-Frah Govt. College at Changlang district. The government wants to put emphasis on higher education in the state. The minister said they issue has been sorted out and newly appointed 94 assistant professors would be appointed soon. Stipend for students had been increased substantially to keep students motivated. The minister has visited the site of the new model colleges that will come up soon and asked the executing agency to complete the ongoing project as per requirement of the college.
