There are chances of some irritation in the gums in few cases while using some home teeth whitening treatments, but will not cause any damage to your gums teeth and mouth. Take half tablespoon of baking soda in a bowl, mix half teaspoon vinegar and pinch of table salt in it. This mixture is very effective for removing teeth stains and keeps your teeth white and free from all kinds of oral bacteria. This is one of the best available home teeth whitening treatments and also a cure to the gum problems. One can also make homemade teeth whitening powder with basal leaves and dried rind of orange. Just take15-20 dry basil leaves and dry rinds of one orange in a bowl and mix them properly and apply the mixture on your teeth as a tooth cleaner. One more effective tooth whitener for effective home teeth whitening treatments can be made at home. You just have to take half a tablespoon of baking soda and blend couple drops of hydrogen peroxide in it. Apply this mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide on your teeth for 1 or 2 days in a week. You will find that this whitening paste has whitened your teeth by removing stains from them. Some irritation can be felt in the gums while using this paste in some cases, but it will not harm your teeth or gums. This is one of the simplest and effective home remedies available for teeth whitening. Some of the home teeth whitening products are available over the counter. They are do-it-yourself kits. They contain peroxide. These bleaching solutions bleach your tooth enamel. The peroxide whiteners are placed in a mouth guard. Some of the home teeth whitening products have to be used twice a day for a couple of weeks while other products can be used at night for a period of one or two weeks. The treatments that are used at home involve putting a bleaching mixture on a tray that is eventually placed inside the mouth. It is kept in the mouth for an hour or you can keep it for the entire night. This is typically suggested by your dentist depending on the kind of stain you have. The home teeth whitening products usually have a low concentration of the Carbamide Peroxide – 10-20% only. But the gels which have more than 10% of Carbamide Peroxide also have sodium fluoride so as to lessen the sensitivity. Another way is to use the trays which can be made by your dentist. In this he takes the impression of the teeth and creates the tray in the dental labs. You can utilize these trays easily at home.
