Many people feel phones are now stale as they all look and feel the same. But just when you could think a phone couldn't surprise you any more, the Samsung Galaxy was launched. In the fast changing technology landscape, Samsung’s name never got faded. Recognized as one of the largest smartphone makers in the world, the mobile technology giant also offers a wide range of mobile phones. Now you can buy Galaxy S8 and get first-hand experience of the ultimate mobile technologies. The latest Samsung phone personifies the best UI research, hosts many times-saving features, including a dedicated button for search, besides native integration for social media applications. This is not it; for developers, Galaxy S8 offers a strong application marketplace, which means there is never a shortage of commercial applications for users. Design: The phone’s revolutionary design begins from the inside out. The curved back nestles perfectly in your palm. While the glass shimmers as light hits it, there’s no ugly white front plate in sight. The phone is thin and light at 155g, yet it feels sturdy with IP68 water and dust-resistant. What makes the S8 stand out is the display that melts away into the sturdy metal rim. It’s a much subtler curve than on the Galaxy S7 Edge and is a lot easier to use.
Features: The brand’s strong message that it has moved beyond specs is conveyed right with its latest model – Samsung S8. In the phone, you get just about everything that you'd expect —4GB of RAM, 64GB storage with an SD card slot, the latest Qualcomm or Samsung processor inside, fast battery charging, QHD+ resolution AMOLED displays and wireless charging. Other unique features include Iris and fingerprint scanner, Samsung Bixby personal assistant and Android 7 Nougat with Google Assistant
Camera: Samsung has stuck the right chord with using the same camera hardware from the brand’s most loved model - Galaxy S7 in the new phone. This means 12MP "Dual Pixel" camera with an f/1.7 lens. And, the good news is that the software and ISP (image signal processor) have improved in this phone. Additionally, the renowned smartphone maker has completely revamped the front-facing camera to an 8MP unit, which supports auto focus for better selfies.
Software Upgrade: As the brand’s hallmark, you will find a new launcher layout, new icons, on-screen buttons and of a bunch of new software functionality in a new phone. As loved by many users, the software layer on top of Android 7.0 is cross-functional, icons are more mature, and the on-screen buttons are angular and edgy. While the colour scheme is clean and crisp, the biggest software addition - Bixby, Samsung’s very own personal assistant is one board. The software is integrated into the operating system and pops up everywhere as a user won’t need to call out an awkward phrase to get it going. Bixby voice assistant can basically respond to any command and perform actions within whatever app you're using. Bixby goes beyond just voice, though; the leftmost Bixby’s home icon displays news, your heath stats and suggested YouTube videos. The leftmost home screen shows you some predictive information based on how you use the phone. The personal assistant software’s intelligence is integrated with the phone’s camera to user scan a barcode, a book or wine label. Another new addition to the phone’s in-built apps is Samsung Connect, which lets you control your entire smart home from one screen.
Battery: The final attractive USP of any phone is the battery. This time, the brand has taken battery safety very seriously with a 3000mAh cell inside the Galaxy S8. The battery with wireless and fast charging capability will get you through the day due to its more efficient processor.
