September 26, 2019

Well it is certainly possible to go from being a Software Engineer to becoming a Data Scientist and people have done it, although it is by no means easy. 352. Data Science Jobs: Are too many people training to become data scientists?
September 26, 2019

Maybe yes (hypothetically) and definitely no. Yes (hypothetically) in the sense that perhaps the field may not expand sufficiently enough to be able to accommodate everyone in the future. No in the sense that when training to become a data scientist one learns all sorts of skills, such as problem solving approaches and such skills are transferable and could be used or be important in other areas. Hence, if anyone studying data science or machine learning for instance doesn’t get a specific job within data science (as in the job title) there will be ways to apply that knowledge and sk... September 24, 2019

A Data Analyst will take the work done by the Data Scientist and perform deeper analytics with it using platforms like R, Python, SQL, VBA (Excel). The focus of a Data Analyst is to work out why a number has happened rather than traditional roles which might have simply presented the results as management information. Often, a Data Analyst will display their... (read more)
